Would you agree?
I was perusing some websites, since I have extremely little to do around here today. Isn't it almost excrutiatingly painful when time doesn't seem to go by at work... that is why in my search for something to read online, I came across this very interesting list...EW published on it's website the list of 25 Things We Hate: http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20041669_20042482_20043806,00.html.
Check it out, it's fun, and I think you can agree...
BTW, how's everyone in the virtual community?

My House...in the Middle of my Street...
I've come to the realization that I really love living where I do. Why you may ask? Well let me explain...
This past Sunday, I told my husband that I would love to go for a stroll around the neighbourhood. It was a bit late for US standards, but leaving any earlier would mean I wouldn't enjoy my walk since it had been a hot and muggy day. So around 10:00pm, we headed out.
The kids took out their bikes..imagine..riding bikes that late at night! Everything seems much more mysterious. What is in the shades? Behind the trees? In the backyards of the homes we walked by..
The street that is perpendicular to mine is on a slope. When you arrive at the top you can literally see NY. I love seeing the Empire State Building standing out in the landscape. Imagine watching a street, lined on both sides with blooming trees, and a building lit up right in the middle.
As we kept on walking, I realized that many of my neighbours were also enjoying the fresh spring night. We waved at a woman, sitting on the steps that lead to her backyard. We critiqued our neighbours homes, pointing out which ones were pretty and well groomed and which ones were plain creepy, to say the least. We saw some of the neighbours walking their dogs, others fixing their cars.
I took a deep breath, looked at my kids enjoying themselves, and just loved the moment.
